About me

About Me

I’m Shlomit Wolfin, a therapist, the creator of Meta Body Mind©, and a specialist in working with the subconscious mind in relation to sexual function, health, and relationships.

My professional journey didn’t begin in a therapy room. It began with a personal journey that changed my life.

From Personal Healing to a Career in Therapy

I previously worked as a teacher in Israel’s Ministry of Education. At the same time, for ten years, I trained medical clowns and volunteered in the field, driven by my belief in the power of human connection, emotion, and humor to touch people’s lives during challenging times.

A major turning point came when I was living with ulcerative colitis, a chronic illness that changed the way I viewed my health and the possibilities available to me.

I began working with the subconscious mind because I wanted to improve my health. Through subconscious-focused therapeutic work, I experienced a significant change and recovered from the illness. During this process, I also healed a Mitral Valve Prolapse – MVP, panic attacks and anxiety, as well as gynecological problems I had experienced since my teenage years.

This experience opened up a new world of questions, exploration, and possibilities. I wanted to understand more deeply the connection between the mind, the experiences we carry with us, and the body.

The Encounter That Changed My Professional Direction

After spending about a year working as a therapist, helping people address illnesses, fears, and other difficulties, a man came to me with a sexual functioning problem. He insisted that I work with him using the same subconscious techniques I had used in my own healing journey.

I agreed, and our work together led to a meaningful result.

That encounter became the turning point that led me to focus on sexual functioning. Following the success of that process, I began exploring the connection between the subconscious mind and sexuality in greater depth, researching, learning, experimenting, and developing my professional approach in this field.

What began with a single encounter and a new set of questions gradually became the central focus of my work.

I have also taken medications in the past that affected my sexuality. Together with my personal journey, this experience deepened my understanding of how significant sexuality is to our lives and how important it is to approach it with sensitivity, curiosity, and without judgment.

Meta Body Mind© — The Method I Developed

Drawing on my personal and professional experience, I developed Meta Body Mind©, a therapeutic method that combines techniques for working with the subconscious mind to explore the connections between personal experiences, emotions, thought patterns, and the body.

I believe there is no single story that fits everyone. Two people experiencing similar difficulties may have entirely different inner worlds and personal histories.

My work focuses on understanding the relationship between each person and the challenges they experience, as well as exploring possibilities for change through subconscious-focused work.

Over the years, I have expanded my work beyond sexual functioning itself. I help men address the effects of sexual trauma, difficulties related to fertility and conception, challenges in finding a partner and building relationships, and other issues that affect their personal and intimate lives.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I share my knowledge through articles, books, and digital courses. I also train therapists in the Meta Body Mind© method through a professional training program offered in Hebrew.

Life on the Road, a Business Without Borders

I was born in 1974.

I’m a mother of two daughters, and since June 2023, I have chosen a nomadic lifestyle. This choice allows me to combine my love of freedom, movement, and discovering the world with my professional work.

My business is entirely digital, and I work with clients from different parts of the world. For me, this lifestyle also reflects the way I choose to live: with freedom, curiosity, a commitment to growth, and a willingness to explore new possibilities.

Today, I’m expanding my work to an international audience. On this website, I share articles in English and offer English-language digital courses focused on self-healing. These courses are designed for independent learning and do not include the personal guidance and support offered through my programs in Israel.

My podcast, Zikfat Boker (Morning Erection – זקפת בוקר), and my professional therapist-training program are available in Hebrew. My books are currently being translated into English, and I look forward to making them accessible to readers around the world.

What Drives Me

My personal journey has taught me how much life can change when we are willing to ask questions, explore new possibilities, and look at things from a different perspective.

I continue to explore the connections between the subconscious mind, the body, sexuality, and our relationships, while sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained along the way.

My mission is to help men better understand themselves, address the challenges they face, and discover new possibilities in their lives—in their sexuality, romantic relationships, and connections with others.
